JOHN BURTON (Props/Effects)
John likes sculpting and rigging big things: 6’ tall pop-up books at Walt Disney Concert Hall; life-size copper tubing alligators for a Cajun restaurant; 21’ wide “peach” made of curly wood veneer for James & the Giant Peach. His Waiting for Godot featured a multi-piece tree hung as a mobile. His puppet portfolio includes shadow, rod, hand, and Bunraku-style. He recently returned from Texas where he installed life-size marionettes of Don Quixote & Sancho Panza.
